It’s like he was fated to deal with sound in all its states: Ricardo was born the day after the 1st International Colloquium on Sound in Paris in 1959. After his degree in industrial engineering at the University of Buenos Aires, he embarked on a career as an acoustics engineer in Geneva and Lausanne in 1988, becoming an expert in sound proofing. Having joined Gartenmann Engineering SA in 1999, he sees himself as a man of sound who takes as much pleasure from moments of silence in music or in front of the chess board as he does from the tunes concealed in daily and industrial noise.
